Twelve years ago, on September 24, 2014, I sat down to meditate on the New Moon. Afterward, I picked up my journal and words simply began to flow. I didn’t understand where they came from. I didn’t even really understand what I had written.
Years later, I realized that was my first channeled message. And what makes it even more significant is that it happened just four days before I was ordained in the Order of Melchizedek—an experience that would become one of the greatest catalysts of my life.
Then, exactly one year later, on September 24, 2015, another message came through:
Have a conversation with God.
Chill out.
Lighten up.
Stop trying to control everything.
Let God know what you need.
So I did.
I asked for three very simple things:
Respect. Appreciation. Acceptance.
What followed was a day filled with signs, synchronicities and a profound realization that I could no longer abandon myself to keep the peace.
That day became a line in the sand.
I wrote that I would be me, unapologetically.
That I would beat to my own drum.
That I would never allow anyone to break my spirit again.
I had no idea just how much those words would change my life. And now, twelve years after that first message, I can see the evolution so clearly. I am a completely different woman. I have shed SO many layers.
I’ve gone deeply into spiritual study and practice. I’ve studied the Peruvian shamanic path. I’ve continued developing my mediumship and intuitive gifts. I’ve learned from extraordinary teachers and mentors. This past year alone brought one of the most profound experiences of my journey—six months of coaching with Lee Harris, even having the unexpected opportunity to go onto his show and receive one-on-one coaching.
But perhaps my greatest education has been living it.
Learning when to surrender and when to act.
Learning the difference between being kind and abandoning myself.
Learning that boundaries aren’t walls.
Learning that saying NO can be every bit as sacred as saying yes.
Learning to trust what I receive instead of immediately questioning it.
Learning that my sensitivity isn’t something I need to quiet—it is part of how I navigate this world.
And this year, something has shifted again.
Maybe it’s the energy of the Fire Horse. Maybe it’s simply where I am on my path. Maybe it’s the culmination of twelve years of doing the work.
But I am no longer moving quietly.
I am moving fiercely.
I am saying no when something doesn’t align and YES to the things that light up my soul.
My channel has strengthened. Messages come with greater ease and clarity. Manifestation seems to happen more quickly—not because I’ve somehow mastered a magic formula, but because there is less resistance between what I know, what I desire and how I choose to live.
I’m learning that manifestation isn’t simply about asking for what we want. It’s about becoming aligned enough to receive it. t’s about releasing what no longer belongs.
It’s about trusting the nudges.
It’s about taking the action.
It’s about knowing when something is a hell yes…and being willing to walk away when it isn’t.
And I’m still evolving.
That’s perhaps the most beautiful part. There is no finish line where suddenly we are completely healed, completely awakened or have everything figured out.
There are layers.
There are initiations.
There are moments when we look back at an earlier version of ourselves and realize…
I had no idea where I was going.
But somehow, mysoul did.
When I look at that photo of myself from 2015, holding my drum, I realize how far I've come.
I was just beginning to understand my own power. I was learning to beat to my own drum.
Twelve years later…
I’m still beating it. more fiercely...
I'm no longer afraid to make a little noise. ❤️
